Golden Bear mid fielder Jeremy Irias was selected by the Ohio Scholastic S occer Coaches Association to the second team All Ohio 2008. Jeremy is the fourth player to receive this honor in the history of the team. Irias was praised for his ball skills, offensive skills and playmaking. Chippewa's Jon Kasburg and Norwayne's Jake Zimmerly also received honors giving the Wayne County Athletic League three all staters for the first time in history. Former winners for the Golden Bears were Dylan Hanlon (1991, 1992) , Andrew Cerniglia (1993), and David Hradek (2001,2001).
